Troy and Ciarra’s

Date Night

Dakaree | X-Firefly

Troy

He hadn't been on the Olde island long but he steadily ventured closer to the herd. After several days of traveling the lush land he was growing bored of his solitude. He always hung around with the herds; being alone didn’t suit the highly strung stallion.

He caught a scent of the wind - the scent of the Olde herd. FINALLY! Typical to Troy’s style, he decided to make a scene with his entry, and would gallop head on into the heart of the Heart and bellow his arrival. No, subtlety was not his thing. Picking up his pace, the Andalusian Thoroughbred mix travelled fast.

“Finally, faces to talk to and torment.”  He laughed loudly as he weaved in the dark shadows of the trees.

Ciarra

The habit of wandering around after nightfall was something the chimera had found trouble with before. Mostly predators and other unwanted encounters, getting caught in an old human trap once; Ciarra was surprised Vasska hadn’t punted her yet. Oh well, it was better than standing around all day.

A short time later, she could hear what she would later find out was Troy. The voice startled her a bit, but it was identifiably another equine. It was either another herd member, or a Loner. Ciarra didn’t recognize it though, so she opted to stay close to the shadows in an attempt to conceal herself.

For a while, Ciarra watched from her post next to a particularly low-branched tree. A white leg appeared, attached to a darker colored body. Ciarra couldn’t tell what the rest of the other horse looked like from where she was standing. Was this equine friend or foe?

Troy

Although he was nimble on his hooves, his attention was on his thoughts and he wasn’t focusing at all. His spanish blood carried him with prancing strides and an arched neck and tail. He hated being alone, which was contrary to the fact he hated having friends. He liked having people around to distract him from his tormented mind, but he hated anyone growing close to him. Relationships of any form made his stomach turn with anxiety.

“Olde horses are gunna be fun to mess with.” He chuckled. He quickly averted his course around a tree, and in doing so, he came face to face with Ciarra. With a yelp and a scatter of feet he skidded to a halt, but not quickly enough as he bumped into her and clattered in a red heap to the ground.

“Bloody hell!”

Ciarra

For some unknown reason, Ciarra’s body had frozen as the other horse had began to come her way. It took him quite literally bumping noses with her for her mind to snap from it’s comatose. The chestnut seemed just as startled as she was, however, as he was now crumpled in the grass. She’d just managed to catch his comment before their… Sudden encounter.

“What about Olde horses is so entertaining? We’re just a bunch of religious zealots.” Her brow raised, voice curious. This guy came all this way… To mess with Olde members. Okay, then. It took her a moment to notice the familiar Bachelor mark that was worn on his nose.

“Wait… You’re not here to steal mares, are you?” Yep. The question sounded even more stupid than it did in her head. If that was indeed his intention, Ciarra was a sitting duck. Her expression changed, as if to say ‘sorry for the stupid question.’ If she was right, the rolic wouldn’t be for quite a while, and many more stallions were involved in that. This guy was probably a loner.

Troy

With a groan he rolled aside but didn’t bother to stand just yet. He looked to her and was dazzle by her pelt. It was like she was two horses glued together. He’d never seen a colour like it. As she spoke his gaze flicked to her face, and he just dazzled even more by her beauty. It must be his lucky day! A charming, obnoxious smirk swiped across his mouth.

“Hmm… maybe I am. Maybe I’m the Bachelors best spy, here to scope out potential broods.” He leaned in and gave her a wink. “Or, I’m just a passing loner unlucky enough to have be spawned in that foresaken herd and was marked as a Bachelor before I could utter my first adorable words.”

He laughed, messing with her head and standing to his feet. He shook the dirt and forest debre from his pelt. He chuckled and looked down at her. “A more polite greeting is ‘Hello, my name is blah blah. Mine, is Troy. It’s a pleasure to me you, stranger.”

Ciarra

The mare gave a chuckle. “I suppose you’re right. My name is Ciarra, though, not ‘blah blah’.”  Ciarra gave a wink of her own. This loner seemed interesting already. Too interesting to be looking for trouble with such a bunch of fuddy-duddies. He’d certainly gained her attention, that much was clear.

“And you’ve come to rile the herd, hmm? I can show you a better time than those crusty old bears.” Ciarra cooed with a flick of her tail. Troy was quite a cutie, and the Bachelors hadn’t seemed to ruin him. At least, not that she could see at first glance. There wasn’t much she knew about the herd, other than their testosterone-laden patriarchy. This one was much more… agreeable.

Now that Ciarra was more at ease that she wouldn’t be dragged to the Eastern isle, her playful nature seemed to come out. Something she didn’t often get to do around the other advisers, or around the herd in general. Perhaps this Troy would make life more interesting, even if just for a while

Troy

“Ciarraar… Sexy.”  The chestnut chuckled, flicked his mane out of his face. Yes, this entire trip had definitely been worth it if only to play with this pretty thing. Those violet eyes were sending volts through his body. He boldy stepped closer, shrugging his shoulders nonchalantly.

“I like causing a little… excitement in the herd. You group of Unicorn-following prissy ponies will be so easy to irritate and very entertaining to watch as they run around like headless birds.” Troy chuckled a little darker, glancing around the forest. “But maybe you can offer me something more… enticing?”

Ciarra

The mare batted her long eyelashes once, sly smile crawling across her muzzle. Yes, this was far better company than any of those in her herd. “Perhaps I can. I can be… rebellious.” Ciarra’s tone dropped slightly, reaching up to nip his ear slightly. The moment was disturbed, however, when her forward motion disturbed a branch. Loud chirping birds darted out of the tree the two were situated by.

As the frightened flock made their escape, many of them pelted right into the two equine’s bodies. Such dumb little things!  “... Well, then. Way to ruin a moment.” Ciarra made a sour face. Just when the fun was starting! “Perhaps we could relocate to the shores. So there will be… less, y’know, birds.”  Humor had returned to her voice, but she was still clearly.. disappointed, by the disruption.

Troy

A few irritated curse words and snorts later, Troy nodded in agreement. This girl was too easy. What if all the Olde mare and stallions were this easy?! It was weird having someone so… okay with his personality. Usually at this point, she should have been angry or crying by now. Strange..

“Don’t you have a stallion back home you’d rather be spending your time with?”  He enquired, arching a brow at her. “Such a pretty mare like you surely have someone chasing her tail? Or is your easy nature a turn off to everyone else? I personally don’t mind. It makes scoring so much easier when she just wants it for the attention.”

His words were insulting, even more so when spoken with that sick smile and sweet voice. He nuzzled her neck and purred. “Now , are you gunna lead me to the shore or what?”

Ciarra

A burst of laughter came from the chimera mare. Troy’s words may have been trained on hurting her feelings, but she was not so swayed by the words of others. True, she was fascinated by him somehow; perhaps the revelation that not all Bachelor bred stallions were tyrants, perhaps that he had taken the time to talk with her instead of just continuing with his business.

“I merely enjoy keeping my options open. The idea of… casual sex has never bothered me. Besides, what fun it is to play the field!” Ciarra chuckled more, man he could be a riot! She’d just love to introduce him to Vasska and watch the dusty old man blow up! “It seems to me that you may be just as easy, dear Troy. No matter, follow me. Enjoy the view.” She winked, taking steps toward the beach

She mulled over Troy’s words. It was not untrue that she had suitors, it was the fact that none of them had caught her fancy. Most of them were unicorn-worshipping and had no life outside of religion- and while Ciarra was religious herself, she was also rebellious. She had better things to do than pray four times a day.

Troy

As far as the ‘adult’ department went, the pair were almost indentical. Troy laughed and nodded, his forelock bouncing off his face. He followed with hungry eyes, gazing across her body as she lead the way. His muzzle grazed her rump and he smiled.

“I am very, very, easy… And I don’t think theres anything wrong with some casual fun between two adults, either.” The sooner they reached this beach, the better. Troy wasn’t going to hold back his advances too much longer.

“You better hurry or I’m gunna get impatient.”

Ciarra

The excitement that Troy gave off caused her to giggle. “Dare I ask how many lucky mares there are in Chevalin?” Ciarra mused aloud, the beach growing ever closer. She somehow knew what was bound to happen when they reached the sandy terrain, but ...teasing the chestnut was just too much fun! In the back of her mind, she hoped he’d visit much, much more often- but she wouldn’t ask him to. Either way, the opportunity for such fun didn’t arise often.

“Impatient… We can’t have that, now can we?” Ciarra raised a brow, stepping onto what was the beginning of the beach peeking through grass.

“As much fun as it is to see you all worked up."

Troy

Troy blew the question away sarcastically, waving his muzzle in the air. “Oh, hundreds and hundreds. You might be lucky enough be the number one thousand.”

The sand crunched under his hooves and he trotted out onto the shore. The ocean was familiar to him, constantly jumping islands and exploring the entirety of Chevalin. The day was growing old and darkness had fallen over them while in the shadows of the forest. It was almost dusk when he rolled onto his back and looked over to his pretty little companion.

“Care to join me and count the stars? It could take awhile..”

 ///The next morning....//

Ciarra

Sand. Sand, sand, sand. The warmth of it was certainly soothing, but the way it rubbed her when she moved was less than comfortable. Ciarra could hear Troy getting up not far away… She had taken a small opportunity to wash the grains of sand off of her body so they wouldn’t irritate her further, but now that her companion was awake, she made her way back over to him. “That was quite the astrology lesson.” Ciarra giggled. Yeah, astrology.

Troy

A chuckle escaped the Bachelor as he spotted Ciarra approaching. He wasn't sure if he'd stay around much longer... he didn't want her to start clinging. Yuck.
Then again, she wasn't the normal pathetic, sappy mare. She seemed as scandalous as himself... if that were possible. Regardless, he'd be remembering the previous night for a long time.

"I'm glad you learned something." He smirked, nipping her forelock teasingly. "You taught me a few new things, too. You had better get back to your herd, like a good filly.."

It had been fun, but it was time to get moving. He had his own business to take care off.
